Long before Kate Colley built a career in hospitality, strategy and marketing communications, much of her life revolved around dance.

Kate began dancing at nine, started teaching at thirteen and later performed professionally. In the 1990s, that path took her onto the field at BC Place as a Felion, part of the BC Lions dance team now known as Uproar.

On September 12, Kate, will join the BC Lions Uproar alumni from across the decades for a special performance alongside today’s team.

The side line cheers and performance brings together generations of dancers who have helped shape the BC Lions game-day experience. For Kate, it is also a return to a part of her life that people who know her through Hatch may not have seen, but one that has never really left her. Go team!

The BC Lions host the Montreal Alouettes at BC Place on September 12 at 7:00 pm.

Kate Colley has worked across nearly every format hospitality offers — destinations, resorts, hotels, restaurants, wineries, and major events — and she brings all of it to every engagement.
