CHEF NED BELL LEADS TWO DESTINATION BC CULINARY SERIES
The campaigns share British Columbia’s food stories with travellers in the UK and California
VANCOUVER, BC - Chef Ned Bell is taking viewers across British Columbia in two new culinary travel series from Destination BC.
In the six-part BC Beyond the Plate, Bell travels the Rainforest to Rockies route from Steveston to the Canadian Rockies. Along the way, he cooks with the farmers, fishers, producers, and makers who shape the province’s food culture.
Bell also appears in Harness the Harvest, a three-part series exploring the connection between food, land, and community in the Valleys & Vineyards region.
Created for audiences in the UK and California, the series are part of Destination BC’s new global content programs showcasing six of the province’s destination brands through local people and place-based stories.
“Food is one of the most honest ways to tell the story of a place,” said Bell. “It was a privilege to travel through British Columbia, spend time with the people who grow, catch, and make our food, and share what makes this province so special.”
The series reflect the values that have shaped Bell’s career: local food, sustainable sourcing, and a strong connection to place.
